Some snapshots  from a gathering of the London Perl-Mongers.  Against all odds,  it appears that some alcohol might accidentally have been consumed.

As for the layout of the archive:  the snaps are presented at several resolutions and two gammas;  pick the set which looks best on your screen.  The ones labelled `...mac-gamma' may look best on the bleached whiteness of a Macintosh screen,  the ones labelled `...nonmac-gamma' (which have been brightened up some) may look best on PC/workstation screens,  and there's absolutely no way of predicting what nasty laptop active-matrix panels will do to a picture.  Up to your eyeballs.

On the chance that there might be some overlap between the Perl-geek and photogeek communities,  some info.  No flash was used, of course, because that'd destroy any hint of the existing ambiance and annoy the crap out of the subjects besides.  Since it was dimmish, the film was Ilford Delta 3200  (at EI 3200),  hence the fist-sized grain.  If you love the tonality, give credit to that film and the remarkable Leica 35mm Summilux-M ASPH (probably wide-open the whole time) mounted on an M6 0.85.  If you hate it,  blame the lab which did the developing and the scans :-).
