Technically we care that you can program and know some Perl (our
interviews include a programming exercise); beyond that we're flexible.

Pipex Hosting are seeking an enthusiastic Perl developer to join our
friendly team, creating products for our market-leading brands.  We
cover the whole product lifecycle, from design to maintenance and
working with operational staff and support to constantly improve
products and systems.

Across the dev team there are 16 of us with varied skills and
experience, and there is flexibility for you to shape your role.  We're
open-minded as to your background and previous experience, from recent
graduate to guru; pay obviously varies accordingly, up to £45k.

We have a relaxed atmosphere in a brand new office, with a loose dress
code and flexible working hours.  Situated on the outskirts of London
between Heathrow and Uxbridge, there's easy access to public transport
and good road links.

Required skills:  Perl programming, problem-solving, OO design, SQL,
working at a Linux command-line

Desired skills:  Familiarity with any of the following is a bonus, but
not essential: MySQL, Apache, Template Toolkit, Rose DB, mod_perl, CGI,
SOAP, SNMP, JSON, XML-RPC, Subversion, database normalization, writing
documentation, sys-admin (Linux, FreeBSD, Windows)
