OO Perl Systems Developer

 

Based in Central London, this Interactive Marketing Solutions Company is
looking for a Developer to join the Systems Development Team.  Working on
some exciting new projects for this pioneer of online marketing, this person
will take responsibility for the continuing development and evolution of
both internal and external applications.  This will involve working
throughout the full development lifecycle, including meeting with business
owners to understand requirements, and liaising with other departments to
gain feedback on current systems and ideas for new ones.  All candidates
should have strong Object Oriented development skills using Perl, and a good
knowledge of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.  Experience with
databases (MySQL / Oracle), web application frameworks (CGI, JSP), and HTML
is required, as is the ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part
of a multi-skilled team.  A proven track record of commercial development
experience is required; along with the ability contribute effectively at all
stages of the software development lifecycle.  This is an excellent
