Hi all,

We're looking for a Perl Applications Development & Support  
Contractor to help out for here at Fotango.  It's a 6 month on-site  
contract to start, though it may be extended.  Rates are negotiable,  
depending on experience.  The main goal of the role is to have  
someone take on 1st Line Development Support for our Perl  
applications; key responsibilities include:

    * Maintaining existing Perl web applications
    * Refactoring and documenting apps as needed
    * Acting as first-line development support for all client requests

Key skills:
* Perl
    * Good knowledge of CPAN modules
    * Experience with at least 1 XML Parser
    * Template Toolkit
    * DBI & Class::DBI
    * mod_perl
* xHTML & CSS
* ANSI SQL

General knowledge of:
* Postgres & MySQL
* SVN
* Linux
* Apache basics
* RT (or a similar bug-tracking system)

Ideally
* Client facing skills
* C#.Net, and:
    * NHibernate (OO/RDBMS mapper)
    * NAnt (build tool)
    * NUnit (unit test framework)
    * ASP.NET
* Delphi
