The Opportunity:
Axomic are recruiting a developer to work on the OpenAsset product, and 
tools to support the software sales and delivery process. The 
development of OpenAsset 4.0 is underway and the candidate will take a 
central role in the product's rapid evolution, creating exiting new 
features in a leading edge enterprise class product.

They will be working with:
• Windows, Linux and Mac server platforms
• Perl, Apache & SQL
• XHTML, XML, SOAP, RSS, JavaScript & Ajax
• Active Directory & LDAP

They will contribute to:
• OpenAsset 4.0 development
• Support and sales software developed and used in-house

Excellent knowledge of Perl, Linux & SQL is essential.

This is a great opportunity to become an integral member of the team in 
an exciting small company. The individual will have excellent 
communication skills, the ability to quickly take on responsibility, and 
enjoy working in a challenging and fast moving environment. The 
candidate will have to build upon a wide range of software skills in the 
software development delivery process.


Required Skills & Experience:
• Excellent knowledge of Perl, Linux & SQL essential
• Experience with Windows Server platform
• Fluent English
• 4+ years in a commercial environment
• Good written English, able to write clear documentation
• Creative problem solver
• Able to thrive as part of a small team and able to work well under 
pressure
• Outgoing and confident with fast learning abilities and excellent 
communication skills
• The successful candidate will have a degree in computer science or a 
similar discipline


Salary:
£35-45k with 3 months probationary period.
