Hi all,

Looking for Software Engineers, ideally those who are well versed in
Perl but we'd take any fast learners who have demonstrable experience
with Java or Ruby! Perl is our lifeblood though....

We're a growing team of about 10 software engineers who are responsible
the BBC World Service web and mobile output. We have a major project
underway to revamp all our sites to bring them up to date within our new
Content Management System (CMS), Topcat which is primarily written in
Perl.

Additionally we need JavaScript gurus to continue taking our rich CMS
front-end forwards.

This is a really great opportunity to help shape one of the biggest and
most used content management systems in the BBC, powering a massive
amount of multi-lingual output.

If you're interested please visit this link to submit an application:
https://www1.i-grasp.com/fe/tpl_bbc01.asp?newms=jj&id=23799&aid=10281

I'll happily answer any questions but sadly can't take CVs directly.

Thanks guys!
tom
