Lead Perl Engineer - London - paying up to £90k

 

Leader of online advertising are seeking a world class Lead Perl Developer who has an excellent track record within production and delivery within real-time applications. They are based in Central London where there's a friendly and relaxed office, currently buying and selling over half a billion advertising impressions per month from UK websites. They are expanding quickly both in the UK and in Europe. You will be responsible for managing, designing and developing a real-time system delivering around 1.5 billion transactions a month with a doubling or more of capacity on the horizon. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Technology of the company.

 

Required skills: 

* Extensive experience in an online transactional or real-time environment 
* Online advertising or marketing experience a bonus 
* High level of current knowledge within Perl Mod_perl / SQL / Linux 

Desired skills: 

* Grid Experience or or Cloud Experience a big bonus! 
* High level of current knowledge in Java (Tomcat / Apache)
