Based in West London, Europe's fastest growing home entertainment
subscription service company are actively seeking Perl Developer's of all
levels to work in the Technical Development team. 

 

As a Perl Developer, the key objective will be implementing and maintaining
existing and new products and services across all business platforms.
Additionally your core responsibilities will include:  

 

*               For more Senior Developers to provide technical leadership
and mentoring to other team members of the development and wider technology
teams

*               Contributing to the quality of delivery including the
development, integration, test and release infrastructure

*               To participate in the recruitment of Perl development staff

*               To work with 3rd Party Suppliers to ensure that software is
efficiently implemented

*               To contribute to technical consultancy and advice to the
technical and management teams as required

 

It is anticipated that in order to be successful in this role you will be
able to demonstrate: 

 

*         High level of application development using object oriented Perl
on Unix platforms

*         Particular knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL or other widely used
SQL database product

*         Demonstrate understanding of emerging LAMP technologies

*         Excellent communication skills
