Applications are invited from applicants interested in working in the
Wellcome Trust funded BuG at S microarray group. The post will develop,
maintain and implement web interfaces for a relational database
(BµG at Sbase) designed for the storage, annotation and analysis of
microarray data. The postholder will expand the current capabilities
of the database with respect to the analysis tools being developed.
You will possess strong computer programming skills, and knowledge of
current web interface systems is essential. You will have a degree in
a biological science or computer sciences, with knowledge of biology.
Essential computer skills include Perl/PHP and web interface
programming. Experience with the R statistical language is desirable.
