Salary: £50-60,000 + bonus + banking benefits

Role Description:
Perl Developer with strong Web and Unix system administration skills required by a global investment bank. This team develops a large and continually growing distributed web hosting platform, which supports hundreds of applications across the bank. The platform runs on Apache, Tomcat, Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails and perl, and uses the latest agile development techniques to improve productivity. They are seeking a developer with a passion for solving complex problems, and someone who loves perl, Unix and open source technologies.

Required Skills:
* Object oriented perl development
* Web development
* Unix/Web systems administration (Linux/Solaris/Tomcat/Apache)
* SQL
* Desirable: PHP, AJAX/JavaScript, Ruby on Rails
