A global leader within the finance sector are looking for an experienced perl developer, for a 3 month contract (possibility of extension) to maintain and enhance their product and also provide general support for their various websites. Excellent opportunity to get finance exposure!

Essential Skills:

* Excellent knowledge in Perl in a webserver (Apache) environment
* Excellent knowledge in MySQL / Large installations / Optimisation
* Excellent knowledge with a Perl based framework, preferably Catalyst
* Web services and the WSDL framework
* CVS or another version control system

Desired experience:

* mod_perl on Apache 1.3
* Financial markets and market data
* Processing and manipulating large data sets
