We are a London based, market leading ASP providing niche web-based 
services to top-tier financial institutions.

We are looking for a senior Perl developer to participate in the design, 
development, enhancement, maintenance and support of our hosted and 
data-processing services.

Our heavy lifting / complex data-processing is performed behind the 
scenes using OO Perl. This is the primary focus of the role, though web 
development skills might also be put to use.

Essential:
* Self-motivated, pro-active, good team-working skills.
* Ability to absorb and retain complex business information quickly
* Good communication and problem solving skills
* Excellent OO Perl design and development skills
* Strong SQL and relational data modelling skills

Desirable:
Apache, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux, network and firewall 
administration, security update management, intrusion detection, various 
tools - GnuPG, CVS, IPTABLES etc.
