A rapidly expanding search engine is looking for a Junior - Mid-level Perl Developers. The search engine network is based over 90 countries in 28 languages and scanning over 70,000 websites daily, the company is expanding and offering an exciting long-term professional opportunity for multiple Perl Developers.

The ideal applicant would have at least 2 years of professional experience in software development and a solid knowledge of the Perl language, with a passion for development of Web applications and UNIX-based software. They have a strong preference for candidates looking for a long-term commitment, wishing to grow quickly in our highly flexible professional environment offering very close attention to each Team member.

* Full proficiency in the Perl programming language
* Solid knowledge of Object Oriented design principles
* Advanced understanding of modern software architecture principles (API, ORM, MVC, design patterns, optimisation, refactoring, etc.)
* Experience with localisation and internationalisation
* Solid understanding of relational database design principles, full command of SQL
* Full command of UNIX
* Overall knowledge of Web technologies (languages, protocols, browsers, development tools, etc.)
* Good command of HTML and CSS, JavaScript
