A Perl Software Developer is required by my client - one of the fastest growing Open Source software companies in the UK. 

As a company that are expanding rapidly and going from strength to strength, they are building a new team due to unprecedented growth and require a Software Developer with strong Perl development experience to join their team to work on all of their new and existing products. The environment is fun, fast and extremely exciting. 

 

The Candidate: 

 

The successful candidate should have Perl Development experience in a similar capacity and experience must include:

 

 - Strong Perl development experience (At least 2 years experience is expected) 
 - Experience with a Perl web framework, ideally Catalyst or DBIx::Class 

 

You should also have experience with at least one of the following: 

 

 - Browser based technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST, JSON etc 
 - Version control systems such as Git or Subversion 
 - SQL for Oracle or MySQL 
 - Open Source
