Senior Sybase Developer Perl Unix Shell Banking London £100k 

Immediate and exclusive opportunity for a strong Senior Sybase Oracle Developer to join one of my key investment banking clients based in Central London. 

My client have enjoyed significant strength over he recession and are now actively hiring for their RDBMS team. 

As the Senior Sybase Oracle Developer you will be leading the technology work within a trade and revenue reporting system within securities distribution. The trade and settlement loads are built on a Linux/ Sybase environment 

This role will include 
Architecture setting for the Sybase environment 
Adding in new trade/ settlement loads and working on migrating old legacy loads 
Automating previously manual loads 
Performance tuning 


This is an immediate requirement and offers the successful candidate a role with genuine responsibility and growth 


Role requirements 
Strong Sybase, Sybase replication Server and scripting languages in Shell and/or Perl 
Unix knowledge 
Experience of leading a team/ project 
Knowledge of Oracle, Business Objects and Java will be useful
