We're looking for a talented Lead Perl Developer and Perl Developers to join
a rapidly expanding team working on a high availability, multi-clustered,
globally distributed software stack servicing clients across Europe and
North America. This is a really exciting opportunity for the right
individual to help shape an established business with a start-up feel, which
is moving into a challenging new phase.
These are unique Perl developer roles (varied levels) to make a difference
at a company which they fully expect to be one of the great UK internet
success stories!
They need hard-working, high-performing software developers who want to make
a difference and aren't afraid of a challenge to join our dedicated team.
Their development team builds the platform behind all aspects of the
business, including our websites, data processing, analysis, reporting, CRM
and finance.
Essentials:
* Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Perl
* OO Perl, mod_perl, Plack, Mason, Moose, DBIx::Class
* MySQL
* Linux
* Restful and SOAP APIs
* Apache
* CVS/Perforce
* HTML, AJAX, JSON, CSS
* Modern JavaScript libraries
