Folks,

We have two vacancies for senior Perl programmers.

We are a small ASP that provide services to investment banks,
specialising in the securities finance / stock lending arena.
Our problem domain is complex and interesting, and provides lots of
opportunity to create fantastic services for our users around the world.

We are looking to fill two permanent roles, based on-site in our office
in London.

We will consider candidates who are smart, practical, self-starters with
good communication skills, who like working in a complex environment
with like-minded professionals, and enjoy seeing their efforts being
used and appreciated. We are looking for people who can focus on a
challenge and take ideas from concept through implementation and then
into production and on-going operation.

You must have outstanding programming skills, be able to deal with
complexity, have a balance of "what's right" and "what works", and an
innate appreciation of set/relational operations. Post-relational
experience, Unix/Linux sysadmin, IT security expertise, and a passion
for technology would all be valued. Skills in team-working,
productivity, experience in Scrum, Agile, Just-Do-It, Kanban, Lean and
other approaches to the development process are of interest.

If you are thinking about what you want to do for the next 5 years, or
longer, please send a brief CV to jobs at pirum.com with a covering comment
on what you love and what you hate about working in tech / Perl.

Regards,
Jeff Armstrong.

No Agents please.
