It's February. Again! And after a month of freakish weather what better
way to celebrate than to have not one but TWO london.pm meetings. The
first is, of course, the not-officially-sanctioned-but-still-loved
Heretics Meeting announced elsewhere but, in addation, you can saunter
merrily on your way on Feb the 8th to The Crosse Keys in Bank.

	http://london.pm.org/meetings/locations/crosse_keys.html

You don't even have to saunter. You can stroll, sashay, gavotte,
foxtrot, march, hop, skip, jump, run, jog, powerwalk, roll or even
leapfrog.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. Again. Since I am yet again
ensconced in California's sunny Bay Area attempting to work. If it makes
you feel better than I shall have a sympathetic pint of what the
Americans laughably call IPA later. On my own. Sob.

Although, I note that it has Wireless provided by The Cloud so if
anybody wants to set up a webcam then ....

Have fun, my dear Mongers. I miss you and your adorable antics.

Now the standard blurb ...

Social meetings are a chance for people to meet up face to face for a
quiet drink (alcoholic or not) A fair chunk of Perl is talked at the
meetings, but also people who have no interest in the language often
pop along to socialise. There's no charge to enter, no agenda, and we
tend to think of it more as pleasant drinks rather than any serious
  endeavour.

People normally turn up after work, and many stay until closing time.
Food is normally consumed at the pub by those wanting nourishment
though sometimes small groups of people head off for food either
  during or after the meeting.

Location

On Gracechurch Street (which extends south from Bishopsgate) between
the intersections with Cornhill/Leadenhall Street and
  Lombard/Fenchurch Street.

By Tube

Close to Bank, Monument and Cannon Street tubes. Within Walking
distance of Liverpool Street, Moorgate, Mansion House and St Pauls,
possibly even Fenchurch Street and Aldgate.
