web based calendar

I've been distinctly underwhelmed by all online calendar tools and am
hoping the rumours are true and Google will create one that doesn't
suck.

For now I use this one, which is butt-ugly but just functional enough:

and previously I used:
http://palcal.sourceforge.net/
(which is a nice concept, but hasn't been developed far enough to be
usable from the web -- and I don't have shell access at my new job)
