Most built in SATA disc controllers seem to come with raid 0, 1, 0+1 and
jbod on them already. Certainly on the Nvidia 3 controllers built in on
my nice new 64bit AMD machine (an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum) seems to be
able to raid any of the IDE and SATA discs that I can plugin.
Failing that nearly all of the plugin SATA and IDE cards have the same
Raid on them and they start at about £10 from your favorite suppliers
(eg www.ebuyer.com, www.scan.co.uk etc).
