IIRC they were used for an ad campaign for Carling with the theme tune 
to Mission impossible as the background music (WMV, sorry all I could 
find) http://rootsquare.com/dropload/mission_impossible_squirrel.wmv

Which then went on to inspired IoW council set up a scheme to protect
