Aha, finally a use for the nasty bitter leaves that plague the side of pub
lunches and sandwiches. (And why is "salad" about 80% lettuce?)

If I want nasty bitter, I'll have a pint of Brew XI instead. For ascorbic
acid, there's much more interesting ways to get it.
