I was recently offered a glass of the Aberlour A'bunadh (cask strength).
It's aged in Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it an amazingly rich,
almost chocolatey taste.  I thought it was certainly among the best
whiskies I've ever had.  I went out and bought some fairly shortly
thereafter, and I haven't been disappointed.
