I've caught lobster a few times in Australia.  Once on a professional
crayfishing boat in Western Australia, and believe me the amount of
heavy lifting I put in for my lobster almost made it not worth it. 
Other times on the South Coast of NSW in small boats, though we didn't
get to eat in the boat.

Any half-decent fish market will sell live lobsters, and you often see
them in restaurants.
