Hotels in London (near St. James's Park)

Hi, guys.

A friend of mine is going to a conference in London, next
week (@media 2006). The venue is in central London, between St.
James's Park and Westminster (map here:

A double bedroom (he's taking his girlfriend) in the hotel he's
planning to stay in costs 130 euros per night.

If anyone knows of a nice and cheaper place in that area (or at least
close to a subway station that'll get him to the venue), please drop
me a line.
