On one contract I was offered (several months after having started
working for them BTW) was a clause which said that if *they* did not pay
me, *they* could charge *me* interest at so many percent of the
base-rate!
Obviously they had copied and pasted it from a completely different type
of contract - but I queried it and neither it nor a substitute ever saw
the light of day again - even after 3 years (when I stopped working for
them).
It was a good contract otherwise.
