so the merkin was hassling me on IRC about this tonight, he was implying
that we the finest perl monger group in the world[1], nay the  
universe could
not get our act together. To be honest towards the end his tone got
threatening, any minute i was expecting him to note in his new york
twang that he would pop a cap in my ass, but never fear gentle reader
i fell back on the one thing London.pm can always rely on when we
have our back against the wall ... just going to the pub.

There is also another section to the plan, after the drinking of much  
beer
on this night, I'm planning to take DHA to an Indian restaurant  
(cafe) called
Lahore off of commercial road - of course everyone is welcome, but I  
think
it will go pear shaped if too many people go. So to deal with this risk
I am adopting the ostrich risk management approach.

[1] DHA may of course disagree with this, and he has a right to do  
so. For
while we may have more Michelin star restaurants than any other city,  
they
have more hot dog carts than any other city. A close match I think we  
will
all agree.
