That would certainly explain some of the Christians I've met.

The pagans have got their priorities right though. Sod getting up at  
dark o'clock on a Sunday morning to go sit on a wooden bench in a  
draughty church for a sip of cheap plong. Instead, it's a weekday  
evening in the snug of the Red Lion with half a dozen pints of bitter.
