Subject: Monarch - Perl Developers Required URGENTLY

We have your details on record from a previous application you've made
through Monarch. At that time you had skills within Perl and MySQL and
because of the acute shortage of these skills in Scotland at the moment I
wanted an update of your situation.

Are you currently looking or considering looking for a new position? Would
you consider working in either Glasgow or Edinburgh on a Permanent basis? I
have 8 live vacancies at 3 companies who would be extremely interested in
hearing from experienced Perl developers who would be willing to work in
either location. I've enclosed brief descriptions of two of the positions

If you would be interested in applying or know someone who would (we have a
referral scheme in place) I would love to hear from you. Please try and
reply by email or phone initially (but also try and get an up to date CV to
me) and I'll call you back with more details.

a hands on role in a fast paced environment, where you will be involved in
all aspects of the project lifecycle. Also the company offer excellent

significant training budget and promotion is very much based on performance
not time served. Their offices are based in Edinburgh and are easily
commutable from Livingston, Dunfermline, Stirling, Falk irk, Glasgow etc.
The salary for this position ranges to 36K, although significant benefits
and additional salary are available to exceptional candidates

2. Perl Developer required in Glasgow by this expanding and successful
software house. You should have good Perl development skills and good
knowledge with MySQL, Linux/Unix, Python and/or Apache. A solid background
in Open Source development and/or Java would be preferred. You will be
working on challenging projects within the financial and security markets
and will be a part of an enjoyable and prolific software development team

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Perl Developers to join a
forward looking company. You will have excellent opportunities to work on
varied and challenging projects with a team of like-minded developers.
You'll be based in central Edinburgh at their newly re-furbished offices in
a desirable area. The role will involve in-depth development of financial,
payment and security applications with Perl on a MySQL backend. There are
excellent opportunities available for training and progression and a good
benefits package is in place. The right candidate will be very successful
and be given room to develop both your technical and personal abilities. The
