Yes.
We are working with a vendor who has pledged to release a closed-source "Community
Edition" however, which will be integrated with a leading OS AJAX toolkit - this
will if nothing else give a decent black-box example of how to do it properly,
which the OSS community could then look to reverse-engineer.
There's a limited amount more I can say about this now, and I don't think I'm at
liberty to name the vendor or toolkit yet.
