I remember taking delivery of an Ingres installation and it came
on a palette. OK, so once we'd de-duped the manuals and got rid
of crap we didn't care about (form builders, 4GL crap etc) the docs
were still a good couple of shelves full. Including a very, very
good intro to SQL in general.
Sybase is still the database for Real Men(tm) though.
