I just wanted to thank the organizers, which seems strange to me,  
thanking dave
that is, so formally given that he is a friend. However it is worth  
noting that
Dave, Simon, Adam, etc, etc. give up their time even if it is only  
half an hour
of phone calls to arrange these shindig venues for us.
