You appear to be confusing this list for a list that is about Perl.

The joke is that "off topic" is about Perl. Therefore your subject line is
contradictory.

"On topic" appears to be any random gibbering that we dancing monkeys made
recently. Or finding excuses for an emergency social. At times London.pm
has been described as "a drinking club with Perl as its excuse" and this
isn't wholly inaccurate.
