That's the one. On the map, there seems a striking resemblance of  
Theale and Reading to Studley and Redditch. I bet it's also only got  
one bus every two hours and they stop at 7pm.

The pimp assured me that it was only 45 minutes away. When I  
investigated, that'd be the particularly optimistic time given by  
Google Maps that assumes that I have a car and there's no traffic at  
rush hour.

Reading really doesn't tempt me, a satellite of it even less so. So  
if I'm offered less money to work in the south-east than I was making  
in Birmingham in 1999, well they weren't exactly going to get my  
eternal gratitude for the honour of being able to apply for the job.

Alas, I didn't get to discover the client, but I did contemplate  
writing a *letter* to the pimping agency. I certainly want me to  
remove me from their books.
