Explain
I like IMAP over POP3 in that
- it retain read status on the server
- it handles multiple folders
My experience of using POP3 and keeping mail on the server is from time
to time the client gets confused and refetches all the mail. So you get
everying twice and new copies are unread. And you then accidently delete
mail that is genuinely new.
