They're not very interesting.

Mostly this seems to translate to "they're not offering enough money" -
people seem to be fairly content with their current roles, at least
enough that they're not going to jump ship unless there's a good pay
increase in it.  None of the companies hiring seems to be offering that
increase, despite the fact that some of them have been looking
unsuccessfully for people for some months now.
