OT: don't feed the troll

Write up a reply, venting all the bile you can, then wait ten minutes.  Read
back over it at least twice before sending.  You get one of two outcomes:

a) your flame is well proof-read and devoid of obvious misssspeelins and
   grammmmmmar goofs, and you've probably edited several bits for more punch
   and vigor.

b) you realize that your reply isn't as witty as you thought, or that you
   may be wrong, or that larting this troll simply isn't worth your time
   and energy.

In either case, you get the satisfaction of having vented.  Usually, that's
all you need.

Works well for me.
