Celebrate the Decline and Fall of the U.S. Empire at YAPC::NA::2008

Due to the wisdom of our political elites and economic masters, the  
U.S. dollar has tanked.

Which means that most of the readers of this list can afford to  
travel in the U.S. and spend those dollars like they were Monopoly  
money.

Which means you should all come to YAPC::NA::2008 :-)

It's being held in Chicago.  You all know where that is.  Lots of you  
were there two years ago.

What may have escaped your attention is that YAPC::NA is being held  
nearly two weeks earlier in June than it has been in the last three  
years.  Monday to Wednesday, June 16-18.

Which means you have to start your travel plans earlier in the spring.

And which also means that, if you are planning to submit a talk, the  
deadline for proposals is earlier.  This Saturday, in fact, March  
15.  So don't delay.
