Possibly - although these aren't all going to be under different 
virtual hosts and it doesn't solve a couple of other problems I'm 
having.

I'm leaning towards two options

1) Some cleverness along the lines of the 'namespace' module on CPAN.

2) Force the user to put a qualifying namespace in.
