This actually makes me think that local markets very often have a
potentially larger percentage of usage that their worldwide
comparisons.
For example, I know Studivz, a sort-of-blatant-copy-of-Facebook,  is
very popular in the German/Austrian world (http://www.studivz.net/)
and joy (http://www.joy.gr/) is very popular in Greece.
