Ping! This would be tomorrow. I'll be there, will you?

Also, I'm staying at the Black Lion Guest House, as alternately
recommended and reviled on this list, and would just like to place my
vote: I like it. Cheap, clean, friendly enough, bed is comfy, street
noise is not too much (just cars and people walking by and talking,
not loud nightclubs or drunken yobbery or what have you), and I am
full of free continental breakfast which I didn't actually realise was
included in the 40 GBP/night rate, but I'm certainly not complaining.
Only downsides so far: 1) the brand new online booking system charged
me in advance, which is not usual for hotels, and kind of took me by
surprise (but this may be sorted out now; apparently I was the first
person ever to book online with them, and they seemed surprised that I
was all paid up), and 2) the shower failed to emit any hot water this
morning, which I'll mention to them but honestly, it's summer, and I
don't care that much.

K.
