The term "basement" doesn't do that room justice. It's "lower ground", as
it's street level on Horselydown Lane at the rear of the pub, with a full
sized window for natural light*:

It's the window on the left. The room has its own bar.

Also, judging by that picture, it's far more convenient for the smoking
"area" than the upstairs room.
