Fly out via Heathrow because its 40mins away from my house instead of an 1 hour 40, but flying via gatwick is usually cheaper, so:

Out via Heathrow in the AM, return via Gatwick in PM/late at night when it means I don't have to get up at 5am to catch a flight :)
