Why, when I hear "The Locale, the Widget, and the Wide Character" does
my mind rapidly assume a pub crawl?
And before you decide these aren't realistic names for pubs, please
bear in mind that I used to live near a pub called "The Case is
Altered" (named apparently for a Ben Jonson play from 1609).
