Which raised the question in my mind about whether anyone sold carphones at all. And surprisingly (to me at any rate), they still exist: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_phone

However carphone warehouse doesn't appear to sell even the ones that don't really require installation like the Nokia 810. Go figure.
