Guido/Mario - Nice going - why not just ridicule Daniel directly like he
experienced in IRC?

Daniel - unfortunately this is an issue in all online communities.  Perl is
not immune to this but I can say that this is not condoned by most Perl
community members.

Please do not let a few bad apples taint your view of the larger community.
 Thick skin is the word here - rise above the bullsh*t from people who seem
to have nothing substantial to add.  As a community member, I appreciate
you pointing this out - you could have just not said anything and held a
grudge.  I personally value your contributions and hope that you continue!
