Perl is a language optimized for scanning arbitrary text files,
extracting information from those text files, and printing
reports based on that information. It's also a good language
for many system management tasks. The language is intended

<p>Perl Mongers (<a href="http://www.pm.org">http://www.pm.org</a>) is an organisation which offers services to local Perl users' groups. These services range from arranging speakers from the Perl community to supplying web space and mailing lists.</p>
<p>Perl Mongers is part of The Perl Foundation (<a href="http://www.perl-foundation.org">http://www.perl-foundation.org</a>) which is in turn a unit of Yet Another Society (<a href="http://www.yetanother.org">http://www.yetanother.org</a>). Perl Mongers has no legal connection with any of the local user groups.</p>
