Perl Programming Resource required
London-based publisher requires access to an on-going, ad hoc, perl programming resource to assist with XML-based text processing.

Background
The company has an archive of legal reports which exists in a very basic XML format and which is currently being enriched to the company's current XML schema by a 3rd party. We require some perl scripts to enable us to manipulate this XML content for a number of purposes, including quality assuring the enriched content.

All our requirements will be fully documented and the level of scripting required should be fairly straightforward for an experienced perl programmer 

Number of Hours
This is not a full-time or part-time position; there may be several hours work per week for a number of weeks and then nothing for a couple of months. However, there is scope for an on-going relationship with the individual as the company has a number of refinements to its in-house publishing process which it will be working on over the next 6 months or so.

Location
Most of the work can be done remotely, but the occasional meeting and perhaps some on-site work at the Company's offices in central London will be required 

Payment
Hourly rate to be agreed

Candidates
Would ideally suit a freelance London-based Programmer who would be able to occasionally meet on-site at the Company's offices in central London or someone in full/part-time employment but with the flexibility to occasionally be on-site.
