We are looking for a software developer to play a key role in the development of the company's mobile platform.

The role is to assist as part of a small team in design and development of all parts of the in-house software system for delivering video and other services to mobile devices as well as associated management tools, reporting etc. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to be involved with a growing company in an exciting industry.

Required: OO Perl   

Desired: Catalyst, DBIx::Class/SQL/RDBMS, Web Services/API/REST/XML/MVC/CMS, Video Encoding/Streaming/VLC/ffMPEG/IPTV/RTSP, Mobile/SMS/WAP/iPhone, design/programming/architecture, GUI Design/Javascript/AJAX, Subversion, Agile, Windows/Linux, any Sysadmin skills a bonus

Recent projects involve deploying a mobile video platform to the US for a well-known cable broadcaster and developing an Catalyst-based API for the Met Office iPhone application.

We are based in Maidenhead. Salary 40K+ but negotiable on experience.
