SENIOR Perl DEVELOPER (permanent)       LONDON

 

Senior Perl programmers required for a London based client. 

 

(Frameworks)

 

Main Purpose of Contract

 

You will have a proven track record of building highly transactional and
performant web based systems and like to be challenged. You will have the
specific responsibility of building the business logic and database
processing within the xxxxx API using LAMP technologies (Linux Apache MySQL
Perl). You will have had experience in working in a fast-paced web
development team, with a track record of delivering on-time and to
specification.

 

Technical requirements:

 

Perl - at least 5 years' experience with a full understanding of OO Perl

Database design and administration - particularly with MySQL

Network architecture - from Ethernet through TCP/IP to HTTP and

high-level protocols

Working knowledge of languages such as C, C++, Java or .NET.

Linux - knowledge of Linux systems down to kernel level would be an
advantage
